Title: Labour Unhoused.

Acrylic painting  48” x 72”.

2026.

Labor, Unhoused

I was thinking about someone who carries his work with him because there's nowhere else for it to go. His office is mobile-on his shoulder, in his head-always present. The figure is built from fragments, like tasks, decisions, and pressures layered together. There's no clear separation between working and not working.

Even at rest, the labor stays active.

This piece reflects the reality of making ends meet without stability or infrastructure. Work becomes something you carry rather than leave behind. Labor, Unhoused is about persistence-about continuing to function, adapt, and move forward when labor has no fixed place to live.
